FINFO
FINFO is
a utility to be used on HP NonStop ™ Systems to display Guardian and
SAFEGUARD file
information.
FUNCTIONS:
- Selection by file properties
- Sort file names using file properties as keys

Display of file data in a number of views
-
User Totals displayed at the end of each subvolume, volume and system
file display.
SELECTION.
Files
can be selected using the following properties:

(Modification) Range (hours, days, weeks, months, years), and/or

(Creation and/or Modification and/or Last Open and/or Expiration)
by (Maximum and/or Minimum), and/or |

SORTING.
Within a subvolume files can be sorted for display on
the following keys:

DISPLAY.
The
display is performed on a sub volume by sub volume basis and consists of two
components:
1. Sorted File Display.

Full
form,
One file details per line, or |

Compressed Several file
names per line, or |

SAFEGUARD One
file per line plus extra lines for the ACL entries |

The
file size can be displayed on a per partition or total file size basis.
2. User Summary Display.
An
individual user summary display is produced after displaying each
sub volume, volume and system information,
this contains two sets
of lines:
| User Details Lines.
These contain:
User Name, User Number, Number of files, bytes used, Pages allocated.

Grand totals for sub volume, volume and system
This contains:
Number of files, bytes used, Pages allocated.

| SAFEGUARD SubVolume and Volume protection object
details
this contains:
Status, Owner and Audit Information plus extra lines for the ACL entried |
3. EXCEL Compatible Spreadsheet Generation.
An EXCEL compatable
semi-colon separated test file is produced on stdout which contains the
following data:

Header lines showing date and time of file generation.

File detail lines containing,
Volume , Subvolume and File Names, Indicators to show if the file is
Licensed, Open, ProdId's or Audited, Date and Time information on when
the file as last Modified, last Opened, Created, and Expiration Date.The
Group and User Number and Names, File Code, File Type, Primary and
Secondary Extent, Maximum Pages ,
Allocated Pages, Guardian Permissions and EOF Value, Percent Used
SAFEGUARD protection details. one row per ACL entry
